My feeble knowledge of France is entirely sourced from the “Madeline” series of children’s books. It’s been a while since I read them, actually, so some of the details are a little fuzzy. Here’s a rundown of what I have figured out about the mysterious European country:
-There are a lot of mischievous little girls running around
-All little girls live in (hospitals?/convents?/orphanages?/schools?) run by really old nuns
-There is at least one dog in France
-The Eiffel Tower is there
-The entire country is very brightly colored and looks more like a painting than what you would normally expect
-Madeline is a common given name
-Evan Fournier is from there
Wikipedia isn’t much help in educating me further. I tried looking at their article about France but there’s so many words! I really learn better with pictures. Everybody knows DownToBuck isn’t a good reader. The only thing I read is box-scores, and this one tells me that Fournier scored a season-high 19 points! Temps pour certains escargot et baguettes! Bonjour à tous mes amis en France!
