Michael Beasley 24 Points Full Highlights (3/4/2014)

I don’t get what went wrong with Michael Beasley. His first few years in the league were fine. Maybe not as amazing as people hoped after all the college hype, but fine. Then he got put in the doghouse in Minnesota and still hasn’t emerged. I know he’s a bit of an airhead and isn’t a great facilitator but this dude can flat-out score the rock. That’s what basketball is. It’s not about who can get the most advanced stats. It’s about putting the ball in the hole.

Who would’ve thought that he’d be a reclamation project only 6 years into his career? The Heat seem to have taken some of the dumb out of him this year, but he doesn’t get many minutes so it’s hard to tell. He is shooting a career best from the field and from three, which is a sign that he’s finally being more choosy with his shots.

Probably because he doesn’t want to get yelled at all the time like Mario Chalmers. Negative reinforcement is the best reinforcement.
