Dante Exum 11 Points/5 Assists Full Highlights (11/7/2014)

I don’t know about you guys, but when I think about Dante Exum, the area of land that comes to mind first is not Australia or even Utah, but Ethiopia.

Yes, the mighty Axumite empire is what I recall foremost, a nation of power that rivaled its contemporaries in the middle of the first millennium. Some even speculate that its predecessor was the land of Punt spoken of by the ancient Egyptians.

What secrets are lost in their buried and unexplored capital city, Aksum? Mysterious stelai and obelisks stand as the last ethereal sentinels of the power of ages past. What knowledge would King Ezana have for us today, what sorts of ancient wisdom which we could then apply to today’s modern life?

Probably something like “Don’t pass on Dante Exum in order to pick a super-raw big who can’t even shoot really. Come on Orlando, what are you doing, I shouldn’t have converted my empire to Christianity what a bad idea.”
