It seems to me that, during Summer League (or was it preseason, can’t exactly recall), Kyle O’Quinn was showing off his new extended jumper. Flaunting it by shooting the occasional three-pointer. I despaired. Not everyone in the league has to have the long bomb in their arsenal. Kyle would be much better equipped with a few frag grenades and a couple molotov cocktails.
Do not ask me to explain that metaphor.
Anyway, he’s been out for most of this season so it’s yet to be determined if he’s actually going to shoot threes or not. He hit a couple long twos tonight, but he’s done that before. I’m not concerned about that. I just don’t want another promising bruiser turning into a namby-pamby jumper chucker.
