It’s weird that Nikola Mirotic hasn’t been getting a ton of minutes, considering his coach is Tom Thibodeau, he who runs his players into the ground. What’s the deal here? Usually when Thibs finds a player that he likes, he gives said player 40 minutes a game until they get injured. We could be talking about a potential ROY here. Why doesn’t Nikola get the same treatment?
Is it because he’s shooting only 40 percent from the field? Everyone knows that his confidence and thus his percentages would go up if only were he to receive more minutes. How can he get into a rhythm when he’s being jerked around harder than, you know, a thing that gets jerked?
