Watching this game, I’m thinking: why can’t Jodie Meeks be just as good as Kyle Korver? Jodie’s mechanics are fast and consistent. He seems to love coming off of screens. He’s been a great shooter for several seasons now.
But he doesn’t even start. KCP, with his out-of-rhythm three-point jacking, is the starter in Detoilet right now. Do they even want to make the playoffs? Sure, Jodie’s been in bit of a slumpy-wumpy, but we know what he can do as a main threat in the offense; we saw it last year in Los Angeles.
Wait. That Lakers team sucked. Yeah, just keep starting KCP. I will never doubt Stan Van Gundy again.
