Now is when we start wondering why Adreian Payne couldn’t even get in games for the Atlanta Hawks. Maybe a winning team doesn’t have time to bring along a semi-raw rookie, but surely they could have found at least some run for him. Him becoming a good player (as he looks like he might with the Timberwolves) would have given them yet another option as they contend for a championship.
Oh well. At least we get to see Adreian play now. Watching him in the D-League wasn’t the same.
Thanks to the Timberwolves, we are now made aware that he, aside from taking iffy jumpers, can seriously throw down some huge jams. Jams so big that they make the Wolves’ commentators sound all choked up (check out 1:25 if you don’t believe me).
