Langston Galloway and Jahlil Okafor: the next Kobe and Shaq?
Short answer: yes.
Long answer: hell yes.
The only difference is that Langston is actually good as a rookie, unlike Kobe, who couldn’t even manage 26 in a single game during his inaugural season. Other than that, though, the similarities are eerie. Shaq may be a tad less dominant than Okafor is going to be, perhaps.
So where does this leave Carmelo? Is he content to fill the “Rick Fox” role? Or will he pout and whine and demand to be traded to a new horrible team where he can be the man again? Whatever the case, it’s the least of the Knicks’ worries right now. The most pressing one being “what is going to be the route of our upcoming championship parade?”.
