In a fair and just world, these highlights would be “C.J. McCollum and Jimmer Fredette SICK Duel Highlights – 50 Points Combined!”. However, we live in a world that is forever shadowed by the specter of unfairness and injustice, so instead, you get plain old vanilla C.J. highlights.
There was nothing stopping me, really, from just tacking on Jimmer’s 4 free-throws to the end of the video. Maybe I should have. But after seeing C.J. light it up once again for 25 points, seeing the foul shots of a 10-day contract scrub would seem incongruous. It doesn’t matter if a theoretical prime Jimmer and a current prime C.J. duking it out would have been the best thing ever.
