Man, that final fourth quarter lineup against the Grizzlies was nuts. Tyler Ennis, Rashad Vaughn, Damien Inglis, John Henson, and Miles Plumlee. What the heck? That’s the kind of lineup that should never see the light of day except in practice. There’s no scoring there! Where’s the scoring?
It worked this time, but only because Memphis is forced to trot out comparable lineups for whole games. If the Bucks had lost, I would have cursed Jason Kidd eternally for even thinking that that was a good idea. Because it’s not. Not saying I don’t like all those players. I do. Just not all put together like that.
It starts to look a little better if you consider those players’ ceilings. Tyler Ennis = Mike Bibby, for example. And Inglis kind of looks like LeBron. A lineup with Bibby and LeBron went to the Finals, I think.
