Otto Porter 20 Points Full Highlights (3/30/2016)

Otto Porter has all the tools to score thirty points in a game and thus grant me a prime opportunity to make a compelling highlight video. However, he has yet to do so in the NBA. Why is that? His jumper is wetter than peeing in a puddle, but he never attempts enough shots to score truly impressive amounts of points. He also plays with John Wall which should make it easy to score points.

Some veteran in the locker room needs to take Otto aside and remind him that he was third overall pick, DAMN IT, and he should be more aggressive in looking for and taking his own shots. Do the Wizards even have any veterans who would be able to do that? Alan Anderson could try but he sort of sucks so the message probably wouldn’t get through. Jared Dudley could also try, but he doesn’t really know what it’s like to be a featured scorer like Otto should be. If only the Wizards had some kind of veteran small forward with championship experience who could set this young man straight on what his role on the team should be. Somebody like Paul Pierce. Too bad they never had him. That would have been perfect.

Yeah. Too bad.
