Just out of curiosity, I looked up the last time Reggie Williams scored 17 or more points. It wasn’t as far back as I thought: he scored exactly 17 on March 31, 2012, outdone on his team (the Charlotte Bobcats) only by the 20 points of Byron Mullens (lol). Unfortunately for R-Will fans everywhere, this was the season before DownToBuck started plying his trade, and there are none of his highlights from this game or any of the other ones he played donning the Bobcats’ ugly-as-all-hell blue and orange and grey and kill me please.
In fact, there isn’t much at all on YouTube documenting Williams’ NBA career, aside from an oddly-resolutioned nine-minute(!!!!!) vid of him on the Warriors. I watched some of it, and it was really sweet video. Groundbreaking even. There’s also a vid of the other Reggie Williams scoring 31 against the Sonics in 1994. That one was cool too, but we’re getting farther and farther away from what we really want.
Well, I have what you really want: highlights of the real R-Will scoring 17 points in The Year of Our Lord 2016 while playing for a real NBA team who wants to win real NBA games. He’s looking a little worse for wear (seriously, he looks SUPER OLD), but otherwise I think this is pretty much the same R-Will that most Warriors fans will remember. So, basically, none of the current crop of Warriors fans. Because they’re all bandwagoners, get it?
