If the Magic want to avoid being stuck in 11th seed purgatory forever, they need Mo Bamba to turn into their next Shaq. Starting right now. There are other paths forward, but most of them are not feasible (praying for Giannis to come save you is not really a valid path), this one is the most straightforward.

Bamba has a lot of work to do if he wants to match Shaq’s impact on the magic franchise, but he’s off to a decent start: he’s tall like Shaq. Not quite as tall, but really tall. He’s also got muscles. If he didn’t have muscles, he wouldn’t be able to move his skeleton around the court, so that’s another good thing. Dunking? Yes to that also; just watch this video.
