Langston Galloway might have been voted by his peers as “The NBA Player Most Likely to Own an English Estate” but at no point was he voted “The NBA Player Most Likely to Drop 17 In a Quarter Like it’s No Big Deal”. However, at the time of this writing, Galloway owns no property anywhere on the British isles (that I know of), but has shown himself capable of scoring seventeen in a single quarter of game time. A startling reversal to be sure.
I would make a joke about voting here, but I really don’t want to get banned from YouTube because they think I’m engaging in any kind of voter suppression. So I won’t.
It’s too bad that Galloway’s ability to score points deserted him somewhere in the downtime between the third and fourth quarters, because he was on his way to a really nice scoring game, and the added overtime period gave him even more time to accumulate points if he had been able to. I wouldn’t say that the fans got blue-balled by Galloway’s third-quarter scoring outburst, but they definitely got periwinkle-balled.
