The first thing I think of when I look at Reggie Bullock is: what happened to Jordan Hill? The connection seems pretty random until you remember that Jordan Hill had artfully-arranged hair squiggles that were similar to, but even more audacious than, Reggie Bullock’s hair squiggles. So I will now embark on a journey through the intertubez to figure out what Jordan Hill is up to these days.
(If it turns out that he’s still secretly on the Timberwolves’ roster and has been there for the past three years, I’m going to punch somebody. Probably myself.)
So, I went out and did some research, but the results are disappointing. The latest news I could find on Jordan Hill was that the Hornets were interested in signing him for the vet min. That was back in the summer of 2017. As far as I can tell, Hill has not played professional basketball in the meantime. He’s just sitting on his couch waiting for calls from his agent and eating pretzel rods. He’s probably doing that right now as I type that. He’s also probably thinking about if any of the local high schools would hire him as an assistant coach. I don’t even know where “local” is for him. Hopefully he’s not homeless.
That was a lot sadder than I wanted it to be, so I’m going back to Reggie Bullock. His existence is a lot happier right now. He’s recently had a return to his scoring ways that we saw last season. His field goal percentage is still in the toilet, but if he keeps having efficient games like this, that will be corrected with time.
