Another sick performance by De’Aaron Fox. How did he turn from such garbage last year to being one of the best (if not THE best) young PG’s in the league? And yes, before you dispute it, he was garbage last year. I don’t know what RPM even is or how it works, but I know it doesn’t lie.
The reality is, if a young player is going to be really good (like Fox is now apparently), they are at least decent right from the get go. Players don’t magically turn from massive net negatives into team-carrying beasts just like that. Ever. There are probably a few examples, sure. But when was the last time a Rashad Vaughn turned into a Bradley Beal?
Vaughn can still be good, by the way. He was a bad example. He’s going to be a world-beater once he gets out of the G-League.
Maybe I’m getting a little too hyped for Fox. Actually, I definitely am. But you can not blame me. I just spent 15 minutes putting together this video and it was only a little less sick than Trey Burke’s performance last night.
