Here’s something I’ve been wondering for a while: does Dënniß ßchrööder have the ability to grow facial hair? Like, at all?
I’ve never seen him with even a wisp of facial hair anywhere on his face, nary a trace. No indication whatsoever at any point that he’s capable of even growing one follicle anwhere on his chin, cheeks, or upper lip. Completely baby-faced from his first day in the NBA to the present, his sixth year in the league.
I suppose this is both a blessing and a curse. We’ve seen what happens when young NBA players discover that they can grow hair on their face, because it often looks terrible. But, as one ages, one would like to appear more mature, and one way to achieve a mature appearance is to grow a beard, a mustache, or a combination thereof. ßchrööder has not shown the ability to do this.
I know it’s not a German thing because Dirk Nowitzki can grow hair on his face. Certain other high-profile Germans in history were also capable of such things. So why not ßchrööder? Is he broken?
