I’m cool with how Justin Holiday played tonight. He played great. What I’m not cool with is how is hair looks like he dropped a bag of Cheetos into a waffle iron and left it on for three hours. Is there a pact among the Holiday brothers to all have goofy hair? Because they all have goofy hair and I don’t like it. Go celebrate your culture somewhere else where I’m not, please and thank you.
But back to the game at hand. He played good! Better than both Jrue and Aaron tonight, at least in terms of points, which is really the only way to determine how good someone played so that’s fine. If he had kept up his scoring into the fourth quarter maybe Chicago would’ve even had a chance to win, but he didn’t, and that’s fine too because everyone knows the Bulls don’t even want to win games anyway.
Normally I don’t much care for single-minded chuckers like Holiday, but for some reason I have a soft spot for him. Is it because I remember how not-good he was during his rookie year in Philly and am lowkey really impressed at how well he’s established himself in the league? Nah, that can’t be it.
