Markelle Fultz’s career high in made three-pointers has now OFFICIALLY been raised from two to three. That seems like an absurdly low number for a point guard in the modern era of the NBA. In fact, it occurred to me that a career high of three 3PM might be the lowest of any active point guard who gets significant minutes. I spent a considerable amount of time brainstorming players who might be worse and the only name I could come up with is Michael Carter-Williams. Who is also on the Magic. LOL (lots of laughs).
However, I tried to use basketball-reference to divulge this stat to me and I couldn’t figure it out. I’m almost positive that there’s no way to search for career-highs on that site. I spent, like, at least two or three hours clicking on every single thing that I could find. In doing so, I learned a lot of random stuff about the NBA, but I never learned which point guards are even more three-averse than Fultz is.
That’s why I’m CALLING THE OWNERS OF BASKETBALL-REFERENCE OUT. You’ve served me well for all these years that I’ve been running DownToBuck, but the DISRESPECT you’ve shown me by NOT ALLOWING ME TO SEARCH FOR CAREER-HIGHS is so FLAGRANT that I have half a mind TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE THROUGH LITIGATION IN CIVIL COURT. I don’t have a lawyer but I’m enough of a genius that I can represent myself and still win. Because this level of disrespect that basketball-reference has displayed towards me is so unacceptable that any judge that heard my case would high-five me and say “they have to pay you a billion dollars dee tee bee.”
