Do the Kings commentators never shut up about “confidence”? They say that word whenever Nik Stauskas makes a shot, and now they say it whenever Omri Casspi hits a three. Is it a rule that every time a role-player hits a jumpshot, it builds their confidence? Omri’s been hitting threes for his whole NBA career. He doesn’t need any extra confidence. He certainly practices them enough outside of games to have confidence in them when he shoots them in-game.
Here’s what I’m confident about. I have confidence that the Kings commentators should get replaced by me and a person of my choosing. I will institute new catchphrases that don’t suck, and I promise to not get stuck on the same tired cliches about “confidence”. Instead, I will just call everybody a bust.
