Last off-season I compiled a list of all the players ranked in order of how likely they were to be traded. Here’s the beginning of that list.
1. LeBron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Ekpe Udoh
4. Andrea Bargnani
Those other dudes at the top wouldn’t be traded because they were way to good and valuable to their respective teams. Andrea wouldn’t be traded because he has no value for any team. Except I was wrong. He does apparently have value in the eyes of the worst owner in professional sports, James Dolan. He must have just looked at Bargs’ PPG and said “I want him” without looking at anything else.
Because he can’t really do anything else other than chuck and score at a decent rate. Maybe that’s what the Knicks need? Another chucker? I can’t think of anyone else on that team who takes a lot of shots and needs the ball all the time and doesn’t do anything else.
