The common thread connecting all my Pero Antic videos, other than featuring Pero Antic (which is obvious), is that the comment section invariably degenerates into Macedonians (“Monkey-donians”) and Greeks (“Gay-reeks”) arguing about whether Macedonia/FYROM should be called Macedonia, which is also a region in Greece, or FYROM.
I know it’s futile, but I’d like to remind my viewers that nationalism is one of the multitude of things that holds back our collective mankind from reaching its ultimate potential, which is a singular united world where nobody wants for anything and the word “hate” no longer is used except in reference to Brussels Sprouts. Greeks and Macedonians are more similar than different. They love, they cry, they smile, they watch basketball highlights. When we look closely, it turns out that we aren’t that different from each other at all.
Now, that was poetic at all, but it will do nothing to stem the flow of hate coming from these groups of people. Oh well! I tried my best. Commence your arguments.
