I hate it when broadcast crews show ill-timed replays. A good rule of thumb is, if the ball is in play or will be put into play in the next five seconds, you should not start showing a replay.
The Clippers video guys need a little lesson on this rule. We missed out on a prime Redick jumper because some dweeb thought it would be cool to show a previous jumper he made. Later, we are randomly treated to a one-second shot of Chris Paul while the Bucks are taking advantage of a scrambled Clipper defense. There are probably other infractions which I did not take note of.
These are the kinds of things you have to complain about when your whole life revolves around consolidating NBA performances into two-minute videos. I would complain about the weather, but I haven’t been outside in two weeks and I keep my blinds shut at all times.
