Meyers Leonard has seen his minutes drop drastically since his rookie year. The Trailblazers starting lineup, in general, has been extremely healthy, so there are few minutes for underperforming semi-busts. Supposedly he is horrible on defense, though since he gets no minutes I can’t validate that claim. Trailblazers fans will surely be happy to tell you all about it.
LaMarcus Aldridge might be a great stretch-four, but he couldn’t shoot threes. None of the bigs in Portland could. So, in a desperate attempt to regain some playing time, Meyers has added a three-point shot to his repertoire. So far this year it has worked, which is a nice surprise. I would like to see him get more minutes so we can see more highlights consisting solely of threes and dunks.
