Manu has still got it! Stop talking about when he should retire. He’ll retire when he damn well pleases, on his own terms. He can do all the things on the court that he ever could, even now.
I’m talking, of course, about his flopping game. You would think that his arm-flailing ability would decrease as he ages, but it seems as if he’s getting better at it. He’s taking those repeated thumps against the hardwood like he’s still a bright-eyed rookie taking the league by storm.
We may not ever see artistry like the “Bell-Ginobili Double Flop” ever again. We need to treasure these moments, each glorious dive by Manu, because one day we will turn on the TV and find them absent.
