I have an unofficial policy where I try to make all my videos at least a minute long. You may notice that on some of the shorter videos, I show unnecessary amounts of play before and after the shot just to take up space.
Well, this time I utilized that technique, but I could only make the video 45 seconds long. I feel dirty somehow, like there is a pervasive grime on my skin that resists all attempts to be cleansed. A grime of inadequate highlight videos. I can make longer videos to atone, but the stench will follow me to the grave.
It would be so easy to blame Travis Wear for this feeling that consumes me. If had just made one more shot, I could have made it. But no, it’s not his fault. It’s my fault. My fault for making a video where a player only makes four shots and contributes nothing else of note to the box score.
