I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Khris Middleton is pretty underrated.
Now, underrated is a term that gets thrown around loosely nowadays. Everything and everyone is underrated. Stephen Curry? Underrated. How is that even possible? Even players who you think are definitely overrated (like Kobe Bryant) are underrated, somehow.
With that said, K-Mid has not gained the amount of attention he deserves, considering his solid all-around play the last two years. He might not dazzle with outstanding scoring performances, but he is a nice piece for any team, with his quick jumper and good defense.
He’s going to get paid by some team this offseason, because while the average NBA fan has only the faintest inkling of his talents, the average NBA GM (or his scouts) has surely taken notice and might view him as a complimentary piece to a contender or a potential scoring dynamo for a rebuilding team.
Or he just sucks and I’m being a total homer.
