This is a fun video to watch, if your definition of “fun” encompasses a midget point guard taking a bunch of swaggy pull-up jumpshots. I personally don’t care for Kemba Walker’s style of play, but I can watch this video and pretend that he never misses any of the dumb shots he takes. There is some kind of perverted enjoyment I get from viewing such a spectacle.
The Hornets have utterly squandered the momentum they built up from their rebranding by filling their team with people who think they can score but don’t do it very well. “Kemba Walker and Lance Stephenson sharing the court? That couldn’t possibly go wrong, could it? They’ll just miraculously start playing basketball the right way with ball-movement and only good shots once we pay them large amounts of money that they don’t deserve. Al Jefferson certainly won’t turn into even more of a black hole once he realizes that his guards don’t really want to run the offense through him.”
