Dënniß ßchrööder can’t really be blamed for the Hawks’ OT loss to the Warriors. Sure, he missed two free throws in the overtime period that would have been nice to have, but he was otherwise blameless. It would have been sweet for the Hawks to end the Warriors’ home winning streak, but it wouldn’t have counted anyway, since Curry did not play. ßchrööder probably realized that fact and purposely missed the two free throws so that he would take part in achieving such an empty victory.
It seems to me that there’s another point guard on the Hawks roster who I should be blaming this loss on. And it’s not Kirk Hinrich. I wish I remembered what his name was.
Oh well. All hail the Ubermensch.
