Nicolas Batum 31 Points Full Highlights (3/4/2016)

I don’t feel like doing any research, so someone who is smarter than me can tell me that I’m being a dumbass. But why is calling Nicolas Batum a “Frenchman” totally okay while if someone called Jeremy Lin a “Chinaman” everyone would flip out? There must be some derogatory connotations included with the second one that there aren’t from the first, right? Is “Chinaman” not the preferred nomenclature? Maybe the Hornets commentator being a huge racist? I’m leaning towards him not being a huge racist, but you never know.

New rule: from now on, instead of saying “Frenchman” when referencing Batum, use the term “Ball-puncher” instead. So, for example, the phrase “30 points for the Frenchman!” becomes “30 points for the ball-puncher!”. Sounds good to me! Now we have totally removed any possibility of anyone getting offended, except for Juan Carlos Navarro.
