Considering that Thaddeus Young was the only legit offensive threat on the court for the Nets (no, Bogdanovic doesn’t count, yes, I realize he just scored 44), his 12-of-17 shooting performance against the Pistons is all the more impressive. Still, these highlights weren’t as rad as I thought they would be going into the endeavor. I thought it would be a bunch of turnaround J’s over double-teams or sick lobs or pull-ups from twenty feet or other cool things in a similar vein. Instead. we get layups.
If there’s one thing you should know about DownToBuck is that he thinks layups are lame. Any video with too many layups in it is a lame video. Floaters fall under the category of “layups” since they’re like a layup from the front that doesn’t use glass. Floaters in a video are like a double condemnation since any player who shoots floaters obviously doesn’t know how to create a better shot for themselves.
In conclusion: if this video somehow navigates its way into your subscriber feed, feel free to ignore it.
