This is more like it. After an unacceptable nineteen-point performance in February wherein Mahinmi took eighteen shots to score his points, thus prompting me to withdraw his ill-gotten “MANhinmi” nickname, Mahinmi has now scored eighteen points on only nine shots. Thus, I will return the nickname that I had taken away, and Mahinmi can once again be the MANhinmi.
One downside of MANhinmi’s more selective shooting is that we aren’t treated to any of his sweet midrange J’s in this video. If we’re being honest (which DTB always is), Myles Turner is the big on the Pacers who should be shooting from the midrange, not MANhinmi. But if we continue to be honest (again, something that DTB is always doing), MANhinmi canning a bunch of jumpers would make for some dank highlight videos. I am so conflicted right now.
