Kelly Oubre 19 Points Full Highlights (11/9/2018)

Kelly Oubre sat on the floor of the locker room, working on his project with studious concentration. Most of his teammates were ignoring him, too upset about a close loss to the Magic to do anything but change their clothes in silence. However, Austin Rivers couldn’t help but walk over to get a closer look. “You assembling a dollhouse, man?”

Looking up from his work, Kelly shook his head. “No. I’m building a to-scale replica of Klay’s house so that when I infiltrate it, I know exactly what I’m getting myself into.”

“Klay?” Austin repeated. “Like the NBA Klay?”

“You don’t remember when I fought him and punched him?” Kelly asked. “It was a pretty big deal when it happened. Now everybody’s forgotten, but I still remember. Kelly Oubre Junior doesn’t forget. That’s why I special-ordered a bunch of parts from a custom 3D-printing place. All I had to do was send them the CAD files.”

“So that’s what his house looks like,” Austin commented, kneeling down to get a closer look at the waist-high model of an average-looking suburban home. “I thought it would be fancier.”

“Well, I’ve never exactly seen his house, but I made some educated guesses,” Kelly said as he carefully slotted some mini counters and kitchen appliances into their proper places. “I need to know the exact layout because it will be the middle of the night when I break in and start beating the crap out of him.”

John Wall had walked over. “Do you think we’d win more games, Kelly, if you weren’t singularly focused on getting revenge on Klay Thompson?”

Kelly shrugged. “Well, it’s not my fault we keep losing, so I’d say, no, my vengeful obsession isn’t hurting the team at all.” When John continued to try to make comments despite Kelly’s attempts to concentrate, he added, “Could you leave me alone now? I can’t arrange the furniture in his living room properly if you keep trying to deflect the woes of this team onto somebody other than yourself.”

When he was finally left alone, he retrieved a miniature human model from his box of parts and looked at its goateed face closely. “I hate you Klay Thompson. And soon, you will know the full extent of my hate.”
