Dwight Howard has sucked (relatively speaking) since leaving the Magic. People can talk about “injuries” and “effort” but we all know the real reason.
He doesn’t have Ryno anymore.
Anderson is the ultimate floor spacer. You can’t leave him open for even a little bit. Even if you do guard him there’s a good chance that shot drops anyway. There’s a reason that Rockets fans desperately want him on their team. He’d be perfect.
But the Pelicans would be stupid to give him for anything less than Harden. Anthony Davis enjoys the spacing just as much as Dwight did. The Pelicans have a good core in place. Just replace the point guard with someone who isn’t a turnover machine and watch the chips roll in.
