The title of the video says “3 Dunks”, but let’s be honest with ourselves here. Not all dunks are created equal. A big man catching it under the basket and hopping two inches into the air to deposit the rock is not as exciting as Gerald Green catching it at the three point line, upfaking, and then skying above the rim for the smashdown.
In fairness to Valanciunas, he did actually dunk with force on the first two dunks, and he did get a little bit up there to catch the lob. His role in the offense does not call for him to drive from outside to throw down vigorous whams on terrified, frozen defenders. That’s for Terrence Ross to do to people.
