The Bucks ran a significant amount of offense through Giannis in the high post.
This may be a better use of his talents then the ill-fated “make him a point guard” experiment. He’s tall enough and has good enough instincts to make good passes out of the post. Plus he’s been working on his hook shots, so he can always just go up with those if he feels like it.
In other news, he finally hit another three! He’s stopped taking them, either because he’s lost his confidence or the coaching staff is telling him not to. But with 5 seconds left and the game in hand, who is going to tell him not to shoot it? That thing is going up. If he can start hitting that again, well, just give him the MVP.
