I have to give the Charlotte coaching staff credit. They really did a great job fixing Michael Kidd-Gilchrist’s much-mocked jumpshot. The form is still kind of messed up though. It’s hard to change a lifetime of messed up repetition, so every time he shoots his arms still want to do the same old routine.
I know the pain of redoing a jumper. I had to get away from the “Shawn Marion push” to take my game to the next level (14, if you’re wondering). It wasn’t easy, but with a lot of lonely afternoons at the park I’m now sporting a picturesque, high-arcing jumper. Can you say Michael Redd? WOOOOOOOO!
It is with that said that I offer my services to Kidd-Gilchrist to be his personal shooting coach. Mark Price has nothing on me. It won’t even cost him any money, as long as I get to travel with the team and hang out with them and stuff. Learn from the master!
