It’s easy to forget that Patrick “Star” Patterson is even still in the NBA. He’s not nearly bad enough to get noticed for sucking, and he’s not nearly good enough to get noticed for excelling. He doesn’t get a ton of minutes, he doesn’t do much with those he does get. He plays in a country that is not the United States of America. The most notable thing about him is that his eyes are way too close together.
Actually, I take back apart that thing I said about him not being bad enough. He is bad enough this year, shooting 37 percent and scoring a measly 8 points per 36. I didn’t even realize. I guess I had just forgotten about him a little bit this year, just like everyone else except for Toronto fans who are presumably mad at him as they are mad at everyone on their team.
