It’s not going to be very long before a 20-point game by Karl-Anthony “George-Carmelo” Towns is a commonplace occurrence which barely deserves to be noticed, let alone immortalized in Full Highlights format. I foresee a future in which KAT has to score at least 34 points before I even raise an eyebrow. That’s how much of a beast he’s going to be. You don’t see anybody getting hyped over Anthony Davis scoring twenty, do you? Exactly. Him scoring only twenty is actually a disappointment. That’s going to be KAT in a few years.
Maybe between then and now, if we start thinking about it right away, we can come up with a better nickname than “KAT”. I’m thinking about it right now. Are you?
