It’s been a while since we’ve experienced a good amount of Boban Marjanovic action, but things seem to be the same with him as they always were. He still makes opposing defenders look like children. He still can score in a surprising variety of ways. His ears are still large. And the Spurs’ announcers still laugh patronizingly every time he does something good.
I’m going to consider Boban the Spurs’ secret weapon against the Warriors until someone proves otherwise. Golden State would have no answer for him, you saw how bad Whiteside got his butt kicked, Bogut would, at best, fare only slightly better. Stephen Curry can shoot threes, but is he a 7-foot-4 giant with a sweet midrange touch? No.
