This video is everything I hoped it would be and more. Why do I say that? Because there was one basket made outside of the paint! I was expecting a bevy of cheap layups and dunks, but no: Dewayne Dedmon managed to step outside to about the free throw line and nail a jumper, defying all odds.
Besides that, these highlights represent the Dedmon we have come to expect, just in a far greater quantity than ever before. 16 points in the first half for a guy who averages less than 4 a game is right up there as one of the most bananas performances of the year. It would have really been something to behold if he had managed to keep it up for the whole game; sadly, he only converted one more shot after the break.
