It baffles me how Anthony Morrow got almost no playing time last year. It was only a year previous where he dropped a 40-burger with the Nets. But apparently neither Dallas nor Atlanta had any use for one of the league’s best three point shooters.
But the Pelicans have a use for him, since most of their other players are decidedly of the “can shoot threes but probably shouldn’t” variety. In fact he’s probably a perfect fit coming off the bench for them, since their main reserve, Tyreke Evans, can’t really shoot. Or you could just not play Evans at all. Why did they sign that guy again?
