There was, at one point, a lot of hype for Alec Burks as the next young stud scorer who was soon to break out at any point. That hype may still exist, deep within the darkest and most depraved recesses of Jazz-related message boards, but for the average fan, Alec Burks has become an afterthought. The Utah Jazz national spotlight time is currently reserved for Dante Exum, Rudy Gobert, Gordon Hayward’s contract, and how bad Trey Burke is sucking.
Alec can still score pretty well, hell, he scored 14 points a game last year and I don’t anyone outside of Utah noticed. His game is surprisingly watchable considering the amount of foul shots he takes. Must be the circus layups he makes once a game.
