Five games into the Grizzlies season, I made Courtney Lee highlights. In the description, I predicted that the Grizzlies would win all 82 games and set an unbeatable regular season record. This seemed like a fair prediction to make, since they were 5-0 at the time.
Lee has kept up his level of play, but the other Grizzlies have failed in their duties, thus leading to their current 16-4 record. In theory, they could still beat the Bulls’ 72-win season, but somebody other than Lee would need to step up big time. Lee’s already doing pretty much everything he needs to, and if everybody did their job as well as he did, the Grizzlies would probably win every game by thirty points.
This goes for Jordan Adams and Jarnell Stokes as well. If those guys weren’t such scrubs, I think we could just give out the championship rings right now.
