Is it just me or does DeMarre Carroll kind of look like that guy on the cover of “Exmilitary” by Death Grips? His hair is different, but he’s got the same homeless dude’s beard and wrinkly face. I don’t know if musically he sounds like “Exmilitary” though, or like any of their other albums. The comparison with Death Grips and DeMarre Carroll might end with this cover art resemblance.
Anyway, I’m pretty hyped for DeMarre. He’s turned himself into a really useful player. He’s not great at any one thing, and he’d likely look a lot worse on a team other than the Hawks, but he plays his role well and is a reason the Hawks are doing so well. Not an especially big reason, but still a reason.
