Andrew Wiggins 17 Points/3 Dunks Full Highlights (1/16/2015)

Andrew Wiggins appears to be a shoo-in to win Rookie of the Year. After a rough start to the season, he has played very well, scoring lots of points while other presumptive candidates slow down/stop entirely due to exploded knee syndrome. His PER inches ever closer to league-average and he even has positive Win Shares now, quite a feat given his awful (no longer just rough, I thought about it and had to upgrade him) first few games.

I’m actually kind of surprised that he’s playing this well. The hype around him was so intense that I assumed that he would flame out entirely under the pressure. And this is mainly without Rubio. Once the Sultry Spaniard comes back we can expect more good looks for Wiggins, hopefully including some really sick lobs.

Wiggins. Rubio. Really sick lobs. I can’t wait.
