Marcus Thornton is always good for one of these random super-hot games per season, it seems. Usually bookended by lots of single-digit scoring nights and straight up DNP-CDs.
This is that game for Marcus. He will now, regretfully, be not that good for the rest of the year, just as he was not that good before this game happened. Sadly for the Rockets, they wasted his outburst in a dismal loss to the Nets. If James Harden turns up his dont-suck knob just a little bit, they win, and we can all talk about how instrumental Marcus was to the victory.
Instead, we’re talking about how Marcus sucks all the time. And how he looks like a squirrel getting ready for winter. Wait, I didn’t mention that part yet? Well, he does.
