I made a lot of sick highlight videos last year. A LOT. I also made some not-so-sick highlight videos, which have been now, appropriately, forgotten to the relentless march of time. Lost to all but the most ardent basketball historians, these videos will slowly decay into component bits and bytes, until, in hundreds of years, they are nothing but random noise blending in with the cosmic background radiation…

Oh yeah, sick highlight vids. Anyway, yeah, I made a bunch, but the sickest was my compilation of all of Donatas Motiejunas’ post moves from that year. 150 of the deftest hooks and spins, spanning two videos, performed by Captain Hook himself. I’ve watched those from time to time as D-Mo has been injured, hoping that they would tide me over until he’s ready to return.
And now he’s back! He’s still getting back into his groove, but there are some good signs. He had some nice hooks in this game, plus a couple of threes that will surely make all the Lithuanians forget about Jonas Valanciunas for the time being.
