Alex “Olexiy” Len can now officially be called a “Stretch Five”. This is in addition to other adjectives which accurately describe him, a list which includes but is not limited to “Ukrainian”, “Young Talent”, “Starter Quality”, and “Better than Tyson Chandler”. It remains to be seen whether Len will make another three-pointer this year (seeing as he has just matched his total from all of last season), but optimism is not a crime, and DTB is optimistic that Len can continue to show up at the end of blowouts to take threes that the defense isn’t expecting.
The total number of white stretch bigs on the Suns roster now stands at three: Len, Leuer, and Teletovic. If they were to trade Markieff Morris for Ryan Anderson as has been rumored, they would have four such players, and then their combined presence in the locker room would probably create a black hole and destroy the whole earth. Or would it be a “white hole”? HAHAHA ME SO FUNNY
