Joe “No Habla” Ingles is indisputably the most hangdog-looking player in the NBA. From the perpetual circles under his eyes, to his diminished hair coverage, to his flabby, droopy cheeks, to the everpresent beginnings of a very ugly neckbeard on the underside of his chin, one has to wonder if there’s a reason Australia no longer wanted him.
This would be a good time to write a description where Ingles lives up to his Jazz-commentator-appointed nickname of “Jingles” or “Jinglin’ Joe” and does some funny Christmassy stuff. Unfortunately, Christmas has already come and gone, so such a description would no longer be relevant. Even if it was one where Jingles dressed up as Santa, broke into Trey Lyles’ house on Christmas morning, and handed him an empty box which was supposed to contain a “jumpshot” because Trey Lyles doesn’t have one yet.
